Samuel Henry LOMAS D.C.M. Company Sergeant Major 241062, 2/6th Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment). Killed in action 1917. Son of Samuel and Sarah Lomas, of Church St., Tideswell, Buxton. Husband of Sarah Lomas, nee Howe. Commemorated on his in-laws memorial Samuel and Sarah Howe, at St Margarets Churchyard, Wormhill Derbyshire.
Also commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
