Lieutenant James Septimus PUNCHARD, 5th Royal Lancaster Regiment. Born 1st December 1873 and died 2nd April 1919 aged 44. He was the son of Frederick and Mary of Kirkby Lonsdale. He is at rest in St Mary's churchyard, Kirkby Lonsdale, Westmorland His is also commemorated on the Milnthorpe War Memorial, Lancashire
