Studio portrait of 2345 Private (Pte) Raymond Charles Bennett, 7th Reinforcements, 14th Battalion, of Birchip, Vic. Pte Bennett enlisted on 1 May 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Persia on 10 August 1915. He died at sea of wounds on 17 December 1915 at Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey.
