Two more Carcanos. Bottom is an M38 short rifle. This model wasn't around too long. Designed with economy of manufacture in mind, fixed sights and a poor bajonet led to the next rifle - the M41 shown above.

The army decided an adjustable rear sight was a good idea afterall as was the ability to use the M91 bajonet. SW
