Born 30 December 1891 to William and Margaret McMillan of 45, William Street Newtownards County Down, Ireland
Killed in action in France 8 May 1917 aged 26 years.
Commemorated on a family memorial in Movilla Cemetery Newtownards County Down, Northern Ireland also on the Vimy Memorial, France.

Enlisted aged 24 years on the 12 January 1916 into 134th Bn C.E.F (Highlanders) transferred 31 January 1916 to 123rd C.E.F. Royal Grenadiers
occupation motorman resided at 129 Seaton Street Toronto, Ontario
Embarked with 123rd Bn on S.S. Camaronia from Halifax Canada for England 8 August 1916 disembarked at Liverpool 19 August 1916 and proceeded to Bramshott Common Hampshire
16 October 1916 embarked to France. 11th marched into Canadian Base Depot and taken on strength with 19th Battalion. 3 November 1916 posted to 2nd Entrenching Battalion in the field joining them 8 November. 16 April 1917 posted back to the 19th Bn and joined the same day. Killed in action 8 May 1917.
