Died 6 October 1916 aged 29 at Cheddleton Asylum, Leek.

Joined up 4 January 1915. His mother Mrs L Wood 2 Selwyn Street, Stoke on Trent was his next of kin. Born 8 April 1887.
At rest at Hanley Stoke-on-Trent Cemetery, Staffordshire.
