Died 14 October 1918 aged 35

Husband of Maria Hall, 43 Chester Avenue, Toronto, Canada.

Some notes from his army records -

He joined up 30 April 1916 in Toronto, Canada. Born 5 August 1883 in Hanley and resided with his parents and wife, Maria at 6 Albert Terrace, Shirley Road, Hanley. His residence in Canada was 114 Bolton Avenue, Toronto, occupation, Stationary fireman. His wife resided with him in Canada and at one time was residing at 920 Logan Avenue, Toronto. He embarked for England where he went to Westenhanger Training Camp, Kent on the 18 April 1917. While at Westenhanger he reported sick and was admitted on 7 October 1918 into 16 Canadian General Hospital, (Ontario Military Hospital) Orpington, Kent, Bed 10 Ward 44 suffering from influenza. He died in the hospital at 11-30 on 14 October 1918.
At rest at Hanley Stoke-on-Trent Cemetery, Staffordshire.
