David Charles DEACON

Staff Sergeant 24216694 David Charles DEACON, 5th County Londonderry Battalion.
Born 29 May 1934 in the registration district of West Ashford, Kent to Charles E and Mary W Deacon, nee Weeks.

Source Issue 20, The Troubles.
He was shot dead by the PIRA whilst off duty 2 March 1973 aged 38. He was found hooded and shot dead in a laneway at Mullennan, close to the Derry-Donegall border by soldiers at 0800am .
