Extended Description: Flight Lieutenant, Pilot, 43089 Brian Stanley BANNISTER, D.F.C. Royal Air Force. Killed on active service 18th July 1942 aged 24 at Ruthin Denbighshire, Wales. He was the son of Frederick Charles and Kathleen Mary of 12, Myrtlefield Park, Belfast.

He was laid to rest with his parents in Dundonald Cemetery, County Down, Northern Ireland on the 24th July 1942
