Allan HIGGINSON

Extended Description
Allan HIGGINSON Private 15308, 8th Kings Shropshire Light Infantry, killed by an aircraft bomb 27th March 1916 aged 20 at Salonika. Son of George Wright and Sarah Ann of 16. School Lane, Marchamley, Shropshire and brother of James who also fell. Buried at Lembet Road Military Cemetery, Salonika

He is commemorated on his brother Richard's memorial in St Luke's Churchyard, Hodnet, Shropshire and also on the War Memorial inside the church. His brother died for the effects of war service in Salonica
