Royal killed at Rouen, 16th July 1944, 35 He was the son of Joseph and Florance Tipping; husband of Jessie V. Tipping, of Brereton Heath, Cheshire. Commemorated on a family memorial at St Mary's churchyard, Astbury, Cheshire and is buried at St. Manvieu War Cemetery, Cheux, Calvados, France
