BRACE Albert Victor. Private 85637 Royal Army Medical Corps died 7 April 1919 aged 32. Son of Joseph and Mary Ann (Polly) Brace, nee Collins husband of Sarah Annie Brace, nee Roberts of Weaste Holme, Wilmslow Road, Handforth. Born at Little Barford, Hunts. At rest in St Chad churchyard, Handforth, Cheshire.

He enlisted on the 14 April 1915 in the 3/2nd South Midland Brigade, E Coy Royal Army Medical Corps. He was discharged to pension and being no longer physically fit for war service on Para 392(XVI) Kings Regulations on the 30 Janaury 1917 at Aldershot. His home address was South Lodge, Park Hall, Oswestry, Shropshire. His last military post was Canteen, P.O.W. Camp, Handforth. His pension started on the 17 January 1917. His children were Phyllis Mary born 16 November 1910 and Daphne Frances born 6 July 1915.
