Rifleman Aiden Howell. 3rd Battalion, The Rifles (Battle Group)
Killed in Afghanistan 28 December 2009 aged 19 years.
“Our precious Son loved by all who knew him Mum, Dad, sister, family and friends Swift and Bold”

He was killed as a result of an explosion that happened near Forward Operating Base Zeebrugge, in the Kajaki area of Helmand Province, during the afternoon of 28 December 2009. He had been on patrol when an improvised explosive device detonated.
