IVES Aaron, Engineman, 1172/E.S. Royal Navy Reserve Patrol Boat Duchess of York. Born 26 December 1889 at Grimbsby Yorkshire to Thomas and Lucy Jane, nee Green. In 1901 he was residing with his mother (still married) and siblings at 51 Daubuey Street, Cleethorpes Lincolnshire. On the 21 January 1917 aged 27 at HMS Egmont, Malta he was shot and died by a bullet to his neck fired by an officer. No Court of Inquiry report could be found. His wife Maud of 42 Buller Street Grimsby was informed of his death. At rest in Plot C Grave 338 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
