GREEN Jack Durrell. Telegraphist, J/30016 Royal Navy on HMS Arno. Born 23 August 1898 at Wivenhoe to James and Emma Green, of 5 Alma Street, Wivenhoe, Colchester, Essex. Enlisted 11 March 1914 on HMS Powerful. Died 16th September 1916 aged 18 years of dysentry. His mother was informed of his death. At rest in Plot C Grave 324 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
