Food & drink What are you drinking?

Why is that seriously? We also get it at a fair price…

Why are you still in England then? ;)
As soon as I can sit down and work out which tax regime is best for me, I will be somewhere in the sun (Y)

Only got another 3 - 5 years max in UK, and it's sell up an *eck off

Certainly won't be tracking down any British beer - San Miguel all the way or Tropical

Just doing a rough cloudy Cider - might have a second;) Certainly sorts out the aches and pains of a day's hard graft

You’re a snowbird as the yanks would say.

I was genuinely wondering why British beers would be unavailable to Britons. Your taste in alcohol reminds me you’re looking to retire in Spain minus the cider. I can’t stand that thing.

I can get plenty of Tribute, Proper Job and Big Jobs....but St Austell do loads of others. But I never see them around here. My hunch is they export them abroad for a bigger profit perhaps and sell the rest locally then flog the volume beer nationwide?

I've made the switch from beer to Vodka for the most part. Wasn't helping with my weight and made me feel like S**t even hours after drinking.

Something worth considering for my sorry ass, been putting on too much weight for some years. Not even sure how I manage to only have this slight beer belly. Vodka or Martini are fine alternative, much less calories.

I have a bottle of pinot blanc white wine sitting in the fridge but since I got my first jab of COVID vaccine today, I'd rather not combine that with alcohol. ?

You hopefully haven't suffered any adverse side effects. But hey, personally I'd say if my d!ck stays attached I got off easy. Who cares that I'd be unable to drink white wine (which is a drink for incorrigible bourgeois people, I hasten to add.)

Side effects have not yet occured, but let's wait and see if my arm is still attached tomorrow. As to white wine, I'm usually an oncorrigible beer person but in this tropical heat I need something else. I can't even be bothered to have a shandy (aka Radler/Alsterwasser). That aside, I'd say the incorrigible bourgeois people simply copied the habit of drinking white wine from the rural folks in those regions where white wine has been made since the time of ancient rome. I am neither, so I enjoy my occasional glass. Don't get me started on the prosecco faction though or the unspeakable Hugo drinks.

What's wrong with Prosecco - poor man's Champagne ?

Handled some business today on my day off. Not everything went my way. So, got me some Dragons Milk, my favorite beer to make everything positive. Not my photo. Hand a little wobbly.

Edit, mine says 12% ABV.

^I had this beer on a couple of occasions and landed them thanks to an American buddy in beer trades. It’s definitely special.

USPS are dreadful though.
