A Belgian in Scotland in the winter time? :-) Drink what you like, I say!

We need winter warmer as it’s cold AF these days. While looking good, the beer Colin is drinking would be more fitting in summer.

Had a Kasteel Rubus, which is made of Framboise (Rasberries). Normally fruity beers are a no go for me but it’s Belgian and there are well balanced and crafted. Enjoyed it.

Back again , Hoped to be at holy loch getting some LE Nightscapes alas not to be due to the windy conditions .

A few more bottles of Rye kicked: One Basil Hayden… oh, uh, that was bourbon. Well, a Whistle Pig 5 -Year Rye. The 50.00 dollar one which someone gifted me for my birthday and then a couple bottles of George Dickel Rye.

As far as beer lately? An Harp, two Smithwicks, a couple Pacificos….. As far as local brew? A Bear Island amber and a chocolate stout, from the keg!

Got a bottle of Wigle Reserve while visiting Pittsburgh. They make it right there. A fancy rye whisky, balanced and not harsh. Perhaps a bit too smoove for me!

:-)
