For what it’s worth, it only took a couple of cutters for some Saudis to cut throats flight attendants and pilots and mass murder 3000 Americans but what do I know. Blightly surely is better.

I’m tempted to make further comments but I like the Brits in general so I’ll leave it at this retort for now.

yes but the French technicians were not there helping us prep then for firing

I believe the RN had already been using AS12s for years by that point so didn't need help. I suspect if they did need help and had asked the French for it, they'd have gotten it.

the point I was trying to make is they were supposed to be our ally - so why did they help the Argies - its not like they are in NATO or ever going to help the French fight their way out of a paper bag
