I'm surprised young people have any attention span at all, considering how fast everything in life is supposed to be now. You're no longer allowed to process things that happen in life in the time it takes for a normal human being; grief being one example - you're forced back to work before you're ready to deal with everyday things. Some say it's good to be pushed away from traumatic experiences, but each person is an individual, and know naturally when they're ready to get on with life again.
