Yup, and it triggered panic buying (read that as increased prices) of the M855 ammo, which also happens to be my preferred ammo for my AR platforms that are in 5.56 because of the twist rates I use.

Here in Iowa it is easy to get a carry permit. $50 doubloons to the county sheriff. A background check . Can't have any domestic violence or felony convictions. Some sort of firearms safety class. Honorably discharged vets don't have to go to the safety class and can be approved in as little as 1/2 hour.
