It uses the 35/1000 revolver gun (Millenium gun) which is based on the KD series. It can also be used with the KD series and the Bushmaster III chain gun.

The MK 30-2/ABM of the Puma IFV can also fire AHEAD munitions in 30 x 173mm. For the MK 19 and HK GMW AGLs a munition in 40 x 53mm was developed it contains 330 subprojectiles.
