Intro Newbi

Evening all. My late grandfather had a unusual surname which has allowed me to occasionally google his surname to gain snippets of information of his life and his families. I have found out he was one of twenty three survivors picked up by the Germans after his ship the Rawalpindi was sunk on the 23rd November 1939 and thanks to this site it turns out he had a brother Charles Nerne Runicles who no living relation knew about. Very interesting and very proud to find my great uncle.
