One of the 4th Naval Warfare Flotilla's three divisions is the 41st Corvette Division, which with its Visby corvettes and Gävle corvettes monitors large areas of sea and airspace. The division is equipped with weapon systems to handle threats from the air, sea surface and below the surface. This allows the division to solve tasks such as submarine hunting, surface combat and defense against fighter aircraft.
