Charles F Adams class destroyer D186 Mölders, museum ship, the closed door on the left just inside the water-tight door is the ASROC launcher control room access. The opened water-tight door on the right is the magazine where missiles to reload the launcher are stored.

France:
Armoured cruiser Dupuy de Lôme. Laid down in 1888, she was fast & had excellent range, which was ideal for her intended job of commerce raiding. After her time as a warship was over she was converted into a merchant ship in 1918. Her career as a merchant ship was very brief- she broke down on her first voyage & it was discovered that her cargo of coal had caught fire. Too expensive to fix, she was scrapped in 1923.

Battlecruiser HMS Repulse launching a torpedo during an exercise.
For anyone wondering what those balls are forward of the torpedo, it's a rack for a 'night life buoy'. These took the form of a wooden cross, with a spherical copper float at the end of each arm. They also had a chemical canister on either side; these ignited on contact with water, producing smoke and flames for about 30 minutes. If someone went over the side at night, the buoys were jettisoned, giving them a float and a marker.

10.5 cm/40 SK L/40 onboard the SS Goetzen in 1915 or 1916 in the Bay of Kigoma. This was the Number 6 gun salvaged from the cruiser SMS Königsberg. Note the sliding breech mechanism, typical of Krupp guns of this period. The sailor on the far left is holding a leather ammunition transfer bag.
