Territorial Army medics from across the South East are taking part in one of their toughest ever training exercises.
The response skills of soldiers from B Medical Squadron, based in Maidstone, are being tested on Sunday in a scenario made as realistic as possible.
A Land Rover will swerve to miss a lorry and crash into a forest, with casualties having spinal and head injuries and limb fractures.
"The scenario will push them to their limits," said Major James Allan.
