Fun rifles to shoot! When IMA imported them, I got one to clean. Brass was a bit expensive @ $5 each, but it lasts. Also got a Gahendra in 577/450 and a couple Sniders. Those are easier on the reloading budget - 28 ga cases can easily be altered. Recoil? Not much - the guns weigh a bit which takes care of that.

All of the above came soaked in yak fat. (really!) Which is great since it really protects the metal from oxidizing. I never encountered a rusty barrel - all cleaned up bright and shiny. I used spray oven cleaner to remove it from metal.
