My name is Billy and I joined the Army in 1972 and left in 1985 .. I served with 1st Bn Green Howards (who are now 2nd Bn Yorkshire Regt) ... How did I find this site ... by accident really .. I was looking through most websites for photos of military .. when I was directed here ... I have written some military poems and one of them has been turned into a song with the music written by a singer/songwriter from Switzerland called Gion Stump ... the poem in question is called "A Soldiers Dream" and it will be on his new CD which is released in May 12 .....
