Hi, my name is Mike R.

I found this site by visiting links provided by other WWII site.
I am fluent in German, belong to a German WWII Military site, likely where I came upon link for this site.

I am an amature "historian", I have not contributed any new information to "the body of knowledge", but read just about all that I can; which makes me a mere amature. Have done some limited publishing on a couple of CW topics.

I held a commision in the Navy in my younger days:
Lt.Cmdr., M.C.USN.

I think that site content is great but its operation re: messaging is much more complex than necessary.

Finding, Keeping track of, & Replying to messages is much too complex, purpose? Thats why I replied to two (2 week old) messages only tonight.
Simply my humble opinion, or perhaps I don't posess the intellectual wattage required to operate.
