Hi @ all! ??
I'm an old lady from Germany and I found this forum in the internet. I am a hobby model builder. My first all-self-made tank was a MARK V from the Great War. I'll attach some pictures of it.
Now I have a new project in mind. I want to purchase a FUNTRAK chassie and build a 1/2 scale Bren Universal Carrier out of it (scale as far as the chassie allowes). My MARK V cost me so much work, that I promised myself, the next tank model I'll ever build is one I can drive of my own, not only by RC.
Some health issues stopped me from building the whole tank scratch and I decided to buy the chassie (if my negotiations with the manufactoring company are successful) from FUNTRAK.
As some friends of mine and me are reenactors of the Big Red One 1. Infantry Division (some pictures added), my Bren Carrier shall have the markings of the Easy Company (though I do not know, if they had them in service).

So I come to my question for you. Does anyone have some details of vehicle markings of the Big Red One? No matter what vehicle exactly, if they had no Bren Carrier. Then I have to cheat a little bit ?. Any help would be great!

Kind regards!

P.S. please don't mind my poor English ☺️☺️

Hi and thanks for your warm welcome.
To notice ... I'm the woman who is standing in the Jeep, not the one in the skirt. I'm no nurse ?. More a sharp shooter and driver. ??
So has anyone some information I seek?
I have an English friend for several years now and he speaks no German at all. But since I learned my first English lessons in school I fell in love with the English (or American) language. So I do everything to improve it. I even started to translate my own novel for Ian (my English friend), though its very hard for me to get all the expressions the right way. But Ian likes the part, which is already translated very much. Sadly I can't go on with it presently, because I lay in hospital again.
Bye for now ??

Hi @LadySonja welcome to MInet.

We have a bloke called Linedoggie who would be able to tell you that off the top of his head... But I don't think he's ever been very active here.

Welcome to MI.net.

The vehicle markings of the US Army changed over the time. So it would be interesting what time span of WWII the vehicle should represent.
The US Army did not use the Bren carrier btw.
