Hi everyone,

New member here from New Zealand. I was a 'long term lurker, occasional poster' in the old MP.net days.

Main interests are Finnish/Swiss/US Service Rifle Shooting/collecting, Long Range Shooting, Scale Modelling, and Military History.

The War in Ukraine bought me here, as it seems to be pretty current with info (even if unconfirmed...) and images/video.

Dunedin. Hmmm thats a bit far from Auckland, I doubt I'll be doing any long range stuff there anytime soon.... :-(

Come north, to Whangarei... There's ranges out to 1000m, we call them paddocks.

Which calibre are you shooting out to there with? .22LR or 300 Winmag? I'm using a 6.5 creedmore, very nice, great success.

I do visit Whangarei reasonably often as my mother lives up there. I also have "paddocks" at my fathers farm, but there tends to be a lot of livestock and people etc. in the way so probably not the best for long range stuff.

Hi also.
I'm short range and manic reloader. Due to aunty rules our 200 is out of use and had to move despite decades of no problems as proof.

I'm an unashamed 6.5 Creedmoor convert, after years of dedication to .308....

This is my current rig - $1000 Remington 700 ADL in a second hand B&C Stock, but I've replaced the Vortex Scope with a Leupold.
It's a solid 0.6 MoA rifle when I do my part.
