you all. I'm Thomas from Germany.
While searching for WWII-pics, me (google) hit MI.
Since highschool I'm interested in everything about WWII and the politics that lead over to war, because it's impact on my families history.
My family originates from Silesia that they had to leave in 1945 because the allies decided to attach it to Poland.
The family migrated to Northrhine-Westfalia in Western Germany where I was born. A lot of questions for me to find answers for.
Nevertheless, learn about military equipment, stategics and such of allies and axis is very interesting.
Thanks to the www and websites like MI that today is no problem at all. For me, I'm a visual guy, picture sites are the most impressive.
MI is a great site and there are lots of great pictures who made it possible for us to look back in the past.
In future, hope not to lurk-only ;-)
