That thing looks dope. Probably ideal for special operations and what have you. As a front line infantry weapon, though? Huh. It is light – which a machine gunner will love –, but that barrel is rather short.

I mean, compare this thing to the HK MG4, just for reference. It's about 2 kg/4.4 lbs lighter, but the MG4's barrel is 12.5 cm/5 in longer. The MG4 has a maximum effective range of 800 m, I'm curious as to how the Evolys performs as well.

Stupid name, by the way. Sounds like it's marketed to wealthy yuppies.

So is this like the M27? Seems like MG's are not so much MG's that we have seen in the past. I agree, that is a short barrel.
