As so many fo our vets have mentioned the A Shau valley, I did a google on it and amongst other things, came across this website, which is interesting for someone like me who, apart from what our gang here tell us, knows pretty little about the war.

I think this is later on in the war but I'm not sure. Even the locations mean nothing to me but it's 1st Air Cav stuff from what I can gather. Can our vets comment further on this site, dates, locations and anything else they think would be relevant.
The music's a bit naff but otherwise, I enjoyed the site!

Thought it was a good pictorial history of the guy's tour. A good peek at what it was like for us. I don't recall seeing what year he was there.
