They are, but mostly the MPs and recon guys, along with a Gendarme here and there. From what I hear, the Army isn't satisfied with the stopping power/weight of the gun ratio.

oic.. thanks for the info... maybe the serbian is not satisfied with caliber 5.56x45 mm compare to their regular 7.62x39 mm.
Documentaries about Pastrik and Kosare, with English subtitles. Two bloody battles from the Kosovo war. KLA tried and failed to break through the Yugoslav-Albanian border under NATO air cover. As told by Serbian war veterans.

but what caught my eyes was the Lazaar equipped with a BTR-82 turret, interesting!
i remember you guys had your own designed 30 mm turret! does it has to do with your 30mm M86 gun having a rather nonstandard ammo 30mmx192mm?(neither Nato Standard or Russian standard)

Wouldn't know. I imagine that the domestic variant is too expensive to produce, although a variant of it will be used to upgrade the M-80A IFVs. Also, Lazar APC is still very much a project in development, so they're tinkering with it constantly.

They might actually modernize the thing, after some 30 years of dilly-dallying.
Serbian Army securing the migrant camps near the Croatian border. Eighteen migrants have been detained after being found in the surrounding area, and were later returned to the camp. The migrants have been ransacking people's summer homes, stealing, and generally being a nuisance for almost five years, but the state finally decided to react, as elections are coming in June, and people living near migrant cams have an Orban hard-on.
