On video they say that "Finland would be part of soviet block in wartime"

The Finns saw the situation so, that as long as it kept it's own military in shape and kept all foreign powers away from Finnish soil, there is no need to have anything to do with soviets...

...and in kept military channels open with Sweden and Western powers in case Soviets wanted to change that. There was never any wish to be part of Soviet side on possible WWIII scenario.

i guess most people know where the Finn's heart was, IMHO they made the best out of a desperate situation at the end of WWII. But I would love to kick the shyte out of that obnoxious Gwynne Dyer fecker.
