There are some interesting pictures in the previous posts, for once some of the M36 TDs have overhead armour plates, these were added as field modifications. Another interesting detail, the German AT ack-acks are main guns for the "Jagdpanther" that were jury-rigged onto poured concrete bedding. My educated guess would be that they were taken from a factory where production had been halted for what reason whatsoever.
Regarding the identification of the units shown in the pictures it seems as if I have buggered up the content of several folders. The 261st Field Artillery Battalion was a non divisional 155mm howitzers battalion, and one of the M4 High-Speed Tractors has the markings of that unit. So the better part of the pics must be of other units. It looks as most belonged to the 5th Armored Division, some can be identified by vehicle markings as the vehicle 24 of the HQ Coy., 15th Armored Infantry Battalion of the 5th Armored Division on a Halftrack, a trailer and a Half-Track are from Coy. C of the 46th Armored Infantry Battalion of the 5th Armored Division. One of the M5 High Speed Tractors has 9th Army markings, another trailer seems to have markings of the 9th Army and 557th Field Artillery Battalion.
