good morning, history tells us about 2 Tejo and 2 Douro; the units were built in England for the Portuguese Navy, however, due to situations of the war between Colombia and Peru, the first Tejo and Douro were bought by Colombia and shipped quickly to avoid a possible invasion of Peruvian forces from the Pacific; upon arrival in Colombia they were called ARC Caldas and ARC Antioquia, serving with distinction until 1961 when they were decommissioned; the ARC Caldas starred in the hunt for the submarine U-154 in Caribbean waters.
