Born 5 April 1883 in Sulham to Ephraim and Agnes Havard Burtenshaw, nee Stone. 1891 residing with her parents and siblings at Tilehurst, Berkshire. 1901 residing with her mother and siblings at Yew Cottage in Sulham, Berkshire. Died 21 October 1919 aged 36. Research from others records record that she was kicked in the stomach by a soldier and during the operation for her injuries she died. Her death certificate says that she had cervical cancer. 2 days after her death she was buried with full military honours by high ranking army officials.
She was laid to rest in St Nicholas Church, Nunhide Lane, Sulham, Berkshire.
