Private William WORSFOLD. G Company, 32nd of Foot, (1st Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.) Drowned in Pembroke Camp, Malta on the 21st June 1887 aged 23 years and 11 months.
In 1881 he was living with his widowed father, William aged 44 and his siblings at Grove Heath Ripley, Surrey. William aged 22, born at Ripley was employed as farm labourer, and he was also a private in the army. His mother was called Emma, nee Ticknor.
Erected by the Officers, Non Commissioned Officers and Men of the above company as a token of esteem and respect.
