William Henry OLIVER. Lance Corporal 2549, 2nd/1st (London) Royal Field Coy, Royal Engineers died of wounds on active service 28th October 1916 aged 36 in a Stationary Hospital at Abbeville, France. Son of Esther and the late John Oliver, late of St. Mabyn, Cornwall, and Dartford, Kent, husband of Lucy Oliver, of 11, Nelson Road., Dartford, Kent. Born at Dartford, Kent, enlisted at Victoria Park, Middlesex. Commemorated on his wife and daughters memorial in St Andrew's Churchyard, Cromhall, Gloucestershire, at rest in Abbeville Communal Cemetery Extension, Somme, France.
