William BAKER. Gunner 6404, C. Company, 44th Company, Royal Garrison Artillery. Born 1881 in London to Edward Baker. Joined the army on the 28th November 1900 and was by occupation a labourer. 1901 residing at Wellington Barracks, London. Died at Malta on the 14th November 1902 aged 20 years and 2 months. This memorial was erected by the Officers, N.C. Officers and Men of the above Coy, as a token of esteem and respect. He is at rest in Piet Military Cemetery, Malta. Plot 2 Row 25 Grave 09.
