Extended Description: Lieutenant 269296, Royal Engineers attached to the 24th Royal Bombay Sappers and Miners, Indian Engineers wounded in Arakan February 1944 and died of wounds and beri beri whilst a Japanese prisoner of war in Rangoon on the 14th June 1944 aged 21. Son of William Ernest & Alma Juliet Pauline of Tattenhall, Staffordshire.

Buried at Rangoon War cemetery, Burma

This memorial is situated at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
