Civilian of the Gaol House, Changi Interment Camp, died a prisoner of war 30th May 1942 aged 48. His dear wife Dora nee Cantrell died at sea when the ship SS Kula involved in the Singapore Evacuation was travelling on was bomb and sunk by the Japanese

This memorial is situated at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
