Wilfrid Lawson FARRER. Ordinary Seaman J/91781, Royal Navy on HMS Resolution. Born 16th October 1900 at Manchester Lancashire to William Brinsley and Mary Farrer nee Owen of (1911) 2 Mount Pleasant, Mellor Vea Stockport. Enlisted 24th July 1918 on HMS Powerful, occupation prior to enlistment, stoker. Died 10th March 1920 aged 19 years from cerebral spinal meningitis and heart failure. Son of Mary and William Brinsley Farrer, of 27 Union Road, New Mills, Stockport. Born Mellor, Derbyshire. His father was informed of his death.
