Wilfred Lawson OSWALD. Ordinary Seaman SS2449 Royal Navy of HMS Minerva. Naval record show DoB 8th October 1889) Born 1890 at Forest Gate London to George and Catherine Butler Oswald of (1901) 7 Evenshaw Terrace, North Leyton, Essex. Enlisted 24th June 1908, occupation prior to enlistment, messenger. Died 16th September 1910 aged 20 at Royal Naval Hospital, Malta of tuberculosis. His sister Mrs Catherine Silver of 3 Allen Road, Buckingham was informed of his death on 16th September 1910. At rest in Plot B Grave 190, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta
