The fifth USS Independence (CV/CVA-62) , Forrestal class carrier of the US Navy. She was the fourth and final member of this class of conventionally powered super carriers Seen here about to refuel at sea in the South China Sea on her return to the US Dec 1965 following deployment in the Vietnam war.
