BANTING, Thomas William. Sergeant 115176, Motor Transport department, Royal Air Force died 4th October 1919 aged 30. He was the son of Robert and Elizabeth of 265, Dunstall Road, Wolverhampton. He is at rest in Wolverhampton Cemetery, Staffordshire.
At the foot of this memorial is inscribed the following. Also in memory of Pte F C BANTING, S Staffordshire Regt killed in action at Dublin 29th April 1916 aged 19. He was Private 3736 Frederick Charles BANTING, 2/6th South Staffordshire Regiment killed in action during the Easter Rising on the 29th April 1916. He is at rest in Grangegorman Military Cemetery, Dublin City, Ireland
