Thomas Percy ARNOLD

Corporal, 1908, Thomas Percy ARNOLD, 5th Australian Infantry, He was killed at Bullecourt, France 10th May 1917 aged 30. He was the son of Richard Wickham Arnold and Sarah Ann of Rockleaze, Filton, Gloucestershire. In 1911 he occupation was a Drapers Assistant and he was working for Messers Jones Bros, Ltd, Drapers, 336 to 338 Holloway Road, Islington. He and many others employed by the company were lodging in a building that used to be Highbury Truant School, Highbury Grove, Islington.
Commemorated on a memorial in Chipping Sodbury Cemetery, Gloucestershire and also on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Somme, France
