Thomas McCOWATT

Volunteer, Thomas Mc Cowat 5th Gloucestershire Battalion, Home Guard died 1st July 1940 aged 42 at the junction of Cheltenham and Gloucester Road, Churchdown. Son of Archibald James Clark McCowat and Margaret McCowat, husband of Margaret Agnes nee Simkin, of Othery, Somerset, formerly of 17 Clarence Square, Cheltenham. Buried in St Bartholomew's churchyard, Churchdown, Gloucestershire.
