HEVICON Thomas. Private, 2403, 1st/8th Manchester Regiment, died 9th August 1915 in Malta from injuries received in Egypt. Husband of Margaret who was granted a war gratuity on the 29th November 1915. The UK, Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects 1901-1929 records his death as being in the Dardanelles .
GIFFORD Aubrey William. Private, 2229, 6th Australian Infantry. Died of enteric fever, 11th August 1915, aged 18 years. The son of Ellen Maud and Maurice Winton Gifford, of 16 Limes Road, Folkestone.
FRANCIS Sydney. Driver, T4/059120, R.N. Divisonal. Train, Royal Army Service Corps, died 12th August 1915, aged 22 years. The son of Frederick and Annie J. Francis, of 32 Laud Street, Croydon.
